Hair colouring with henna
Henna is a powdered dye extracted from the leaves and shoots of the tropical plant, lavsonia indefensa. In addition to its colouring properties, henna has a number of nutrients that benefit the hair. These include:
- microelements (zinc, iron, copper)
- vitamins A, D, B
- Oleic and linoleic acids
- fibre

HENNA COLORING STEP BY STEP
Henna is best applied once every month and a half. To ensure that henna does not damage our hair, it is worth taking care of proper moisturization between coloring, for example, in the form of a regularly applied mask. At first, you should wash your hair with shampoo. The next step will be to mix henna with warm water, as well as a few drops of lemon, until you get a slurry. The juice is designed to assist in the coloring process.
Later, you should evenly apply the finished mixture to your hair, wrap it in cling film, and finally wrap your head in a towel, so that your hair maintains a constant temperature.
After a few hours, simply wash the hair with water. The first wash after coloring should be done at least 48 hours after coloring. Otherwise, henna may not be permanent.
