Hair loss - which treatment methods are most effective

Millions of people around the world have problems related to hair loss. The causes of this ailment can be many - they are usually individual in nature. For some people, the hair loss problem is related to chronic stress, while for others it may have something to do with genes or hormonal disorders. In order to find the real cause of this ailment and implement effective treatment, it is necessary to contact a doctor. Testing different treatments on yourself, without consulting a specialist, can lead to additional stress, loss of money, but most importantly, loss of even more hair.

Hair loss - what is the diagnosis?

The most important part of treatment - as I mentioned earlier - is finding the cause of hair loss. The doctor, during a face-to-face meeting with the patient, carefully looks at his head. He may also order additional tests, including blood tests. It is worth adding here that in the initial stages of hair loss, pharmaceutical treatment usually turns out to be effective, so it is important not to delay visiting a specialist for too long.

Hair loss vs mesotherapy and laser therapy

If the hair loss is minor and the thinning is not severely visible, pharmaceutical treatment or therapeutic procedures will suffice. These methods usually help and, most importantly, help avoid surgical intervention and often have the effect of restoring healthier and stronger hair. However, they will never lower the hairline.
The most common therapeutic treatments used for hair loss are mesotherapy of the scalp and leserotherapy. Mesotherapy is a treatment that involves gently injecting the scalp (areas affected by baldness) with vitamin and/or peptide preparations. This type of treatment is administered topically, directly to the area of thinning or hair loss. Mesotherapy usually lasts from a few to as many as a dozen weeks and in many cases produces satisfactory results. Frequent sessions should result in stronger and healthier hair growth.

The method of treatment is chosen by the doctor

The choice of treatment method for hair loss is up to the doctor. He is the one who knows which one will be most effective in this particular case and give the desired effect. Every case is different, so we must remember that what helps some patients, for others may prove ineffective or even harmful. Time plays a key role in the fight against alopecia, so as soon as we notice a hair loss problem in ourselves, we should immediately contact a doctor who will help us choose the most effective treatment method for us.
